Gulmarg

Gulmarg is a wide alpine meadow surrounded by pine slopes and high mountain ridges, which makes it one of Kashmir's most flexible destinations. In spring and summer the valley opens into green pastures, wildflowers, pony trails, and Gondola views toward Apharwat Peak. In winter it becomes Kashmir's signature snow destination, with skiing, snowboarding, sledging, and cable-car rides.
