Explore Ladakh beyond the standard circuit with two high-altitude lake regions and a full Turtuk excursion. The route includes acclimatization time and flexible monastery stops, but all remote travel remains subject to health, permits, weather, and road conditions. Flights, optional activities, laundry, tips, and personal expenses are excluded.
Day by Day
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Leh
Transfer from Leh Airport to the hotel and spend the full day resting for high-altitude acclimatization.
Day 2 Sham Valley and Leh Sights
Visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam viewpoint, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Market.
Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley
Cross Khardung La to Nubra. Visit Diskit Monastery and Hunder dunes before checking in for the night.
Day 4 Turtuk Day Excursion
Drive to Turtuk for a guided-style village walk, orchard views, and an introduction to local Balti heritage. Return to Nubra.
Day 5 Nubra to Pangong Lake
Follow the Shyok route to Pangong Lake when open. Settle into the camp or guesthouse and enjoy sunset near the lake.
Day 6 Pangong to Leh
Return to Leh through Chang La, with possible visits to Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace depending on timing.
Day 7 Leh to Tso Moriri
Drive through the Indus Valley and Chumathang hot-spring area to Korzok village beside Tso Moriri.
Day 8 Tso Moriri to Leh via Tso Kar
Return to Leh through the Changthang plateau, stopping near Tso Kar and Tanglang La as road conditions permit.
Day 9 Departure from Leh
Airport transfer for the onward flight.
